Once again, the conversations and discussions the students had while searching the room helped them to truly understand what they were doing and finding.

Science Scavenger Hunt
We are studying Objects, Materials and Everyday Structures in Science. To find out about the different materials that could be found in our classroom, the students went on a "materials" scavenger hunt. Looking high and low, on shelves and under tables, the students found numerous examples of many types of materials. These included: paper, metal, plastic, cloth, glass, and wood. Here are the students hard at work, looking for examples of different materials.
Once again, the conversations and discussions the students had while searching the room helped them to truly understand what they were doing and finding.
